Completion of Studies

Ongoing bachelor’s degree programme (Universities Act 2002/18W)

The bachelor’s degree programme (Universities Act 2002/18W) has already been adapted to the new curriculum administration (SPO Management). To complete your studies (= completion of all study achievements with the exception of the bachelor’s thesis and bachelor’s examination), please notify the dean’s office at least 3 to 4 weeks before your scheduled date of examination.

The following prerequisites must be met for completion of studies:

  • All achievements required in the curriculum must be allocated to the degree programme in Curriculum Support and appear as positively completed (should you not be able to allocate them yourself, contact the responsible administrative personnel).
  • A list of free electives must be sent via e-mail to the dean’s office.

Bachelor’s thesis

At the beginning of the bachelor's thesis, please fill in this form (signed by the head of the course!) and hand it in at the administrative office.

Starting with 01.03.2022, Bachelor theses must be submitted electronically (PDF/A format) via UNIGRAZonline and will be subject to a plagiarism check.

Bachelor’s examination (written)

Choose from a list of possible examination dates here. Please register for a date with the administrative office. Please note: Examination time slots are handled exclusively via the administrative office! Do not contact your examiners before having received an examination date from the administrative office.

Please submit this (completed) form to the administrative office no later than three weeks before your bachelor's examination day.

 

Ongoing master’s degree programme (Universities Act 2002/17W)

The master’s degree programme (Universities Act 2002/17W) has already been adapted to the new curriculum administration (SPO Management). To complete your studies (= completion of all study achievements with the exception of the master’s thesis and master’s examination), please notify the dean’s office at least 3 to 4 weeks before your scheduled date of examination.

The following prerequisites must be met for completion of studies:

  • All achievements required in the curriculum must be allocated to the degree programme in Curriculum Support and appear as positively completed (should you not be able to allocate them yourself, contact the responsible administrative personnel.
  • A list of free electives must be sent via e-mail to the dean’s office.

Master's thesis
Information about the master's thesis can be found here.

Master's examination

Contact both of your examiners as early as possible to arrange an appointment for the master's examination. Please note that at least one of your two examiners must be habilitated. Once you have consulted your examiners, please submit this (completed) registration form to the administrative office. The administrative office will then select a chairperson for your examination.

Please note:  You are required to submit your registration form at least three weeks before the planned master's examination date.

 

Important

All achievements required in the curriculum have to be positively completed for the final assessment.

Both ongoing degree programmes have already been adapted to the new curriculum administration (SPO Management).
