Library
A large part of the library of the Institute of Linguistics is housed in the Library Centre Wall. This centre also houses specialist libraries for Educational Sciences, Romance Studies, Slavic Studies and Translation Studies.
The easiest way to find a specific book in this library is to use the library catalogue of UB Graz. The academic journals of the University of Graz are available in the EZB: E-Zeitschriftenbibliothek (electronic journal library).
The entrance to the library is in the courtyard of the university building Wall. The library is organised as follows:
- To the left of the entrance, you will find reference books of the current semester as well as the non-lending collection with compendia and reference books; opposite the entrance, there are some computer workplaces for browsing the online catalogue as well as the stairs leading to the basement and the analogue card catalogue.
- To the right of the entrance, there is a reception desk, where you can borrow books.
- In the basement on the right, you will find the Library of the Institute of Linguistics; Academic journals are also located there.
