Language - Cognition - Society
Certified linguistic focus as part of the "free electives" of a degree program at the University of Graz
The certified specialization "Language - Cognition - Society", managed and organized by the Institute of Linguistics in cooperation with the Departments of English, German, Romance and Slavic Studies, represents an additional qualification in the form of a free elective specialization and conveys the connections, interfaces and mutual influences between language, cognition and society. Within the scope of the elective area, individual specializations can be set according to interest or content-related reference to the main course of study. The certified specialization is open to all students at the University of Graz; the certificate is particularly recommended as a supplement to all humanities, social sciences, education and cognitive science courses.
A detailed description of the content, structure and outline can be found here.
